SANGKETAN

A few days ago I had my path to the north part of Tabanan. One area that I passed was Sangketan. This area is so beautiful with a paddy field which I think is not inferior to Jatiluwih. Sangketan located in the district of Penebel –Tabanan, Bali . Approximately 30 minutes from downtown Tabanan, sangketan has so much natural charm that is so fresh and outstanding. The area is dominated by  paddy fields and field which is planted with coconut. If you visiting Sangketan in the morning you will be pampered with a morning-fresh-air that makes you feel at home to stay  long in this place.

Unfortunately this place doesn’t get enough attention from the local government to be developed and promoted as tourism destination. In my opinion, this place potentially develop as one of tourism destination in Bali.  I suggest you to have a visit while you in Bali specially when you near Tabanan. Well, I don’t know how long it going to stand like this since most “open space” in Bali now turn to villas, hotel, apartments, etc, which at the end it only set aside no  more than  “building space”.
